PEN PLOTTING TIPS
- Store your plotter media in a dry, cool area - preferably near your plotter.
- Climatize your plotter media. Changes in humidity and temperature can cause registration problems. Eliminate these distortions by leaving ONE sheet of media out near your plotter for at least 10 minutes before plotting.
- Oils from your hands can cause ink to repel. Always handle plotter media (especially polyester film) by the edges only.
- Pen maintenance plays an important role in the plotting process. Clean ALL pens (even disposable pens) after plotting. See our Pen Cleaners & Inks on any pen page.
- Always plot on the preferred side of the media. This is noted on each package or label.
Need plotter drivers? We do not supply them, just pens, ink and media.
